Med Consult Clinic’s purpose is for PREOPERATIVE evaluations for patients planned for surgery and is staffed with PGY II’s and PGY III’s.

Who should be referred?

Anyone who needs a medical evaluation prior to a planned surgery. Patients that have their own doctors in clinic can be evaluated as well by their own providers. Medical Students and PGY I’s are not expected to pre-op their own patients and can refer them to med consult clinic.

How can patients be referred?

Email Orieta O’Connor (Dr. Lemberg’s clerical associate) with the patient’s name, MRN, telephone # and date of surgery, and she will schedule the appointment and call the patient.

When does the clinic meet?

Tuesdays 8:30-12:15; Wednesdays 1:15-5:00 PM; Thursdays 1:15-5:00 PM
