vaginitis case 1 answer 1

VAGINITIS CASE 1

ANSWERS

What are the likely diagnoses?

The patient seems to have vulvovaginitis by
history.  Infection involving the cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes or
ovaries (P.I.D.)  is unlikely given the absence of pelvic pain, abdominal
pain, or fever.  It’s also unlikely that the patient has a UTI given the
absence of urinary symptoms. We need more information to figure out what
kind of vulvovaginitis.
