I would like to personally take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in the Internal Medicine Residency at Jacobi Medical Center. I know the interview road ahead of you is long, and you will see many excellent institutions along your journey.

Here, at Jacobi Medical Center, a University program, the educational opportunities are vast. Jacobi, being a public hospital, offers a wide variety of cases from which to learn. This experience is complemented by rotations through Montefiore Medical Center’s Weiler Hospital, a private hospital right down the block. This fabulous combination offers the best in educational settings. Additionally, Our residents have access to all of the research facilities of Albert Einstein College of Medicine directly across the street, where investigators are constantly involved in both basic science, clinical, and translational research. Our broad range of research opportunities, combined with nationally recognized clinical excellence, are reasons why we annually match an incredible portion of our housestaff to competitive fellowship positions.

We are proud to announce that our program recently received full accreditation with zero citations from the ACGME – the best possible outcome! We feel that this reflects our dedication to providing a healthy and academically strong training environment for our housestaff.
